{"id":4620,"date":"2014-11-10T13:52:57","date_gmt":"2014-11-10T17:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dr-chuck.com\/csev-blog\/?p=4620"},"modified":"2014-11-10T13:52:57","modified_gmt":"2014-11-10T17:52:57","slug":"riding-my-way-back-veterans-day-and-my-own-big-screen-film-debut","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dr-chuck.com\/csev-blog\/2014\/11\/riding-my-way-back-veterans-day-and-my-own-big-screen-film-debut\/","title":{"rendered":"Riding My Way Back &#8211; Veterans Day &#8211; And my own Big-Screen Film Debut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrow is Veterans Day and I will be attending a film screening of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridingmywayback.com\"  target=\"_blank\">\u201cRiding My Way Back\u201d<\/a> <b>Tuesday November 11 at 7PM at the Celebration Cinema in South Lansing<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Riding My Way Back (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ridingmywayback.com\"  target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.ridingmywayback.com<\/a>) is a documentary film about a veteran who came back from Iraq and Afghanistan with with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and how his relationship with a horse named \u201cFred\u201d helped him rebuild his life.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Riding My Way Back, we will be showing \u201cCHUM Families\u201d which is a documentary about parents and children that are part of the C.H.U.M. Therapeutic Riding family.  I produced the film and it if the first time any of my work will be shown on a big screen cinema.  <\/p>\n<p>Here is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=S19KhauUVpE&#038;index=5&#038;list=PLEA0A467E5C90FA34\"  target=\"_blank\">preview of the CHUM Families<\/a> movie on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p>The proceeds for the showing will go to support the programs at C.H.U.M.
